今天要跟大家分享一首由著名诗人、作家北岛创作的的诗歌——《回答》
北岛（1949年8月2日—），原名赵振开，浙江湖州人，出生于北京。“北岛”是诗人芒克给他取的笔名，也是他影响最为广泛的笔名。中国当代诗人、作家，朦胧诗代表人物之一，是民间诗歌刊物《今天》的创办者。
曾先后获诺贝尔文学奖提名、瑞典笔会文学奖、美国西部笔会中心自由写作奖、洛哥阿格那国际诗歌节诗歌奖、古根海姆奖、马其顿斯特鲁加 国际诗歌节最高荣誉金花环奖等，并被选为美国艺术文学院终身荣誉院士。

1. Forever and a day永远
由“ forever永远”和“aday一天”组成的表“forever and a day”是英国剧作家莎士比亚创造的说法,意思是“长久地,无限期地
例句：
It takes forever and a day for their customer service to return my call. I'll write a bad review.
他们的客服过了好久还是没有给我回电话。我要写差评。
2. Till the cows come home没完没了地
奶牛“cows”的动作很慢,因此“奶牛都到家了“till the cows come home”形容“时间很长”。
例句：
My brother can cry till the cows come home but I will not apologise.
就算我弟弟没完没了地一直哭,我也不道歉。
3. In a month of Sundays很久地
在西方的一些宗教文化中,星期天是去教堂做礼拜的休息日,在过去，这一天通常没有任何娱乐活动。所以,人们就戏谑地用“连着一个月,每天都是星期天 in a month of Sundays”用来比喻“时间漫长”,它只能用于否定句中。
例句：
I will never be able to get home in a month of Sun-days in this traffic.
堵成这样,我等到猴年马月也回不了家。
4. Until the end of time直到永远
Until the end of time直到时间尽头”这个说法的意思是“无限期地、直到永远地”。
例句：
Do you promise to love each other until the end of time?
你们彼此起誓相爱到天长地久吗?
5. Donkey' s years很长时间
Donkey' S years驴年”这个说法来自与其押韵的说法“ donkey' s years驴耳朵”,因为驴的耳朵长,所以用表达“ donkey's years”来比喻时间极长。
例句:
I have been living in London for donkey's years.
